About Two Rivers
Mark Leitzel, M.A. is a licensed counselor and co-founder of
Two Rivers Consulting. He has developed and implemented
intensive family therapy programs, managed teams in both
clinical and administrative spheres, and consults regularly with
agencies and professionals regarding team approaches to
effective leadership, service, and corporate development
in ethics and standards of excellence.
After 25 years of work in human services Mark’s vision has
evolved as: Integrating Somatic Psychology and the principles
and practices of Aikido throughout Two Rivers’ programs for the purpose of individuals and teams embodying their fullest personal and professional potential. He also manages Two Rivers Aikido; a martial arts school teaching the Art of Peace whose membership is ASU affiliated. www.tworiversaikido.org
Mark lives in the Flathead Valley with his wife Leigh.
Leigh Schickendantz, M.A. is a licensed counselor and co-founder of Two Rivers Consulting. She is Founder and President of The Healing Arts Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about serious social issues that exist in her community. Drawing on decades of movement disciplines and twenty years of clinical practice, Leigh integrates her training and experience in sports, somatic psychology, and contemplative spiritual disciplines to bring transformation to those who are reaching for their highest potential.
Her vision includes creating elegant effective training programs for individuals, teams, and organizations while focusing her approach on integrity, dignity, personal accountability, and creating a beautiful life.

Leigh is a Montana native and lives in the Flathead Valley with her husband Mark.
Laura Dickerson, MA, LAC is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and founder of Dickerson Counseling, LLC. She has an extensive background in working with families and at-risk youth for the last 20 years as both an educator and school counselor. Through these experiences she began to focus on chemical use and the struggles drug and alcohol abuse cause within family systems. At Dickerson Counseling, Laura provides counseling services for adults and teens.
Two Rivers Consulting and Two Rivers Aikido work in conjunction through their integrated programs and use of the dojo space for the non-martial application of Aikido principles and practices. This collaboration allows Two Rivers Aikido to qualify for Peace Dojos International through Aiki Extensions. As of 2011, Two Rivers Aikido is one of 46 dojos worldwide that utilize martial disciplines and the principles and practices of Aikido on and off the mat to promote peacemaking.
